We have wrapped up our second week of school. I hope it was a good one for you. Going over the homework analogies, I've noticed that many struggled with the assignment. I will return papers to give you a chance to improve your grade.
Analogies may seem unimportant, but you will continue to see them in many high stakes test throughout your school careers and even on some job applications. This exercise was also to help you with learning and remembering your vocabulary. All links are on the Website page as well.
We also worked in class on creating an original origin story. I highly recommend you creating a Google document so that you can work on it as a group outside of school. Check out the tab Websites for instructions on how to create a shared document.

- The book needs to be at least 200 pages long.
- The book can not have been made into a movie within the last 10 years.
- The final selection must be approved by me.
- Needs to be on your reading level.
