Sorry that I'm posting the calendar so late in the week, but as you can see, we've been testing, course selection that took the entire periods, and a snow day. Next week we will continue with Julius Caesar, the study guide, Bell Ringers, and so on.
We have no school Monday, January 21, 2019 to recognize and celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Let this be a day of service in your community or share a kind word with others.
Here is the calendar for the upcoming week. (subject to change). Be prepared for vocabulary quiz with 20 words (2 weeks worth). I hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable break. Here is the calendar for what we did the first wee and what the week of 1/14/19 will bring. Many people start the new year with a resolution, but we aren't! Students will pick a word that defines what they want their 2019 to be like. The directions are below. You will need to cut a piece of card stock paper to 3.5x8.5 (get it from me or just cut a regular piece of paper) in order to write your one word on it. Please follow the steps below to do the assignment correctly and make the card colorful.
Et tu, Brutus? We are also getting ready to start reading The Tragedy of Julius Caesar so this means that we are talking about and taking notes on Julius Caesar and William Shakespeare. Find the information below. There will be a quiz.
Please use the attached "William Shakespeare's Life" file to fill in the blanks for the guide that we started on Friday, 1/11/19.
